AUTOMATIC POWER FACTOR CORRECTION PANEL
Most of the commercial and Industrial installations in the country have large electrical loads which are severely inductive in nature, such as motors, large machines, air conditioners, drivers etc. Which results in a severely lagging power factor? This means loss and wastage of energy and heavy penalties by electricity boards. In case of fixed loads this can be taken care by manual switching of capacitors. However in case of rapidly varying and scattered loads it becomes difficult to maintain a high power factor by manually switching on/off the capacitors in proportion to variation of load within an installation. This drawback is overcome by using an APFC panel (Automatic Power Factor Correction Panel) which not only maintains a high power factor but also eliminates, the need for constant manual intervention.
The ratio of Active Power to Apparent Power is called Power Factor (PC):
Power Factor = Active Power / Apparent Power = KW / KVA

HOW IT WORKS

electronic device, designed with latest technology which stabilizers these surges and optimizes the power factor of the electricity
drawn by an electrical appliance.
The device corrects the losses due to poor power factor of incoming line and appliances. First we have to check the input power factor then across the load, in normal Indian power condition with mix load like tube lights and fans on single phase input line, the power factor comes down to 0.5. our device saves 25% at the load of about 400W-500W(on that load you get 25-35% savings), definitely the device will gradually proceed on optimizing.
Digital power saver uses a combination of filtration & correction techniques to improve the efficiency of
various equipments. In addition, this intelligent technology optimizes the voltage and current
demands, thus reducing the active power/ KWH demands& can achieve up to 40% of
saving in electricity bill.

How to install

Locate the circuit Breaker (consumer Unit) in your house. Find a 13 amp outlet which is the nearest to the Circuit Breaker (Consumer Unit). Plug the electric saver into the 13 amp outlet and switch on the unit.
